Jared Axelowitz graduated from The George Washington University in May of 2019 with a B.A. in psychology concentrating in cognitive neuroscience. Before joining the lab, Jared worked at Uninformed Services University within the Center for The Study of Traumatic Stress researching novel psychopharmacological and psychotherapeutic treatments for PTSD. Jared joined the laboratory in April of 2020 and is currently involved with COVID-19 Pandemic’s Influence on Alcohol study and the Nicotinic Receptor Genetic Variation and Alcohol Reward study. After working at the NIH, Jared is interested in pursuing a law degree in hopes of combating sexual assault and applying science to law.
