Kurren Parida, B.S.

Biographical Summary

Kurren Parida received his B.S. in General Science with a focus in Neuroscience from the Pennsylvania State University in May 2020, joining the Section on Human Psychopharmacology the following month. His previous research experiences focused on the cognitive and social development of adolescents, specifically studying gender development and identity from childhood into adulthood. Kurren is currently working on protocols in the Addiction Neuroclinical Assessment (ANA) data project, as well as screening and recruitment of participants, running experimental sessions, and administrating psychological evaluations. Moving forward, Kurren plans to attend medical school with an interest in trauma surgery and emergency medicine
