Rhianna R. Vergeer, B.A.

Biographical Summary

Rhianna Vergeer received her B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Spanish from the University of Michigan in May 2020 and joined the lab soon after graduation. In her previous research, she worked with adolescents and focused on eating disorder treatment outcomes, food addiction, and psychoendocrine risk factors for obesity. Rhianna is currently working on protocols, including the C-19 and CHRNA5 protocols, where she is involved in contacting and screening participants, administering psychological evaluations, and running experimental sessions. Her research interests include disparities in mental health, and how eating disorders and substance use disorders co-occur and interact with each other. In the future, Rhianna plans to pursue a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology.
