Diana received her B.S. in Neuroscience from the University of Texas at El Paso in May 2021 and joined LNI in July 2021. As an undergraduate, Diana investigated the neural circuits that underlie homeostatic behaviors in UTEP’s Systems Neuroscience Laboratory. She also studied methods in tissue engineering using 3D-bioprinting technology. In the future, she plans to pursue a career in medicine with the goal of providing care to vulnerable populations and reducing healthcare disparities.
