Biographical Summary

Emma Buckler joined the Clinical NeuroImaging Research Core in June 2021 after completing her Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience and Biomedical Sciences at the University at Buffalo. Her undergraduate research involved the identification and delineation of cortical lesions in multiple sclerosis, and their relationship to onset of cognitive issues. She now helps investigate neurological differences in socioemotional functioning in individuals with alcohol use disorder. After completing her time at NIH, Emma plans to pursue a doctorate in Cognitive Neuroscience or attend medical school.
