Mikayla BergWood graduated from the University of Michigan in May of 2022 with a B.S. in Biopsychology, Cognition, and Neuroscience. During her undergraduate career she completed research projects involving parent-child relationships and adolescent brain development. She joined the HP lab in June of 2022 and is interested in pursuing research involving how impulse control and other comorbid psychopathologies interact with substance use disorders as well as how early life experiences influence these behaviors and conditions. After her time at the NIH, Mikayla intends to pursue a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology.
