  2. Rethink Your Holiday Drinking

In this video, the following text appears on screen: “During the holidays, some toasts can turn tragic if we underestimate the effects of alcohol. Rethink Your Holiday Drinking. RethinkingDrinking.niaaa.nih.gov.”

The video includes the following images and sound: As the video opens the tune of “Auld Lang Syne” is heard, and in slow motion two glasses of champagne move toward each other, as in a toast. The music slows, and as the two champagne glasses collide, the sound of breaking glass is heard. Bits of glass and liquid scatter across the screen in slow motion. The NIAAA logo appears in the lower portion of the screen. It reads: “NIH/National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism.”
