I am interested in science communication and studying the neural circuitry underlying motivation, reward seeking, and reward processing to aid in the development of sustainable treatment for substance use disorders. I am currently using in vivo optogenetics, chemogenetics, photometry, and behavioral paradigms to study non-canonical reward circuitry.
