Biographical Summary

Ms. Ryan is a Clinical Trials Specialist for the Division of Medications Development (DMD) at the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA).  She is the SBIR/STTR Program Coordinator and is responsible for the oversight and management of the small business program at NIAAA.  She also serves as the Clinical Program Director for the DMD clinical research programs, NCIG and HLAB.  In addition, Ms. Ryan manages a portfolio of medications development grants, is a Contracting Officer’s Representative Level III (COR Level III) and NIAAA’s Technology Development Coordinator where she interacts with NIAAA's Intramural Staff (IRP) on public-private partnership collaborations and acts as the liaison between NIAAA IRP and the NIAAA technology transfer service center. Ms. Ryan received a B.S. in Biology from Towson University and her M.B.A. from the University of Maryland University College and has experience in the private sector in Process Development, cGMP production, and GCP research.
